The Pharaoh's Pump foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit foundation. We were originally a loose knit group fo researchers who were bonded together by a similar interest. That interest is understanding the process the Great Pyramid was built and why. We were dissatisfied by both conventional and non-conventional theories which have been offered to the general public. We felt that the Great Pyramid was not primitive in its construction or purpose but that it was both sophisticated in its construction method and its purpose was functional.
We organized into a nonprofit foundation by our founder Steven Myers with our headquarters and research facility in southwestern Oregon. We feel that a little known researcher named Edward Kunkel was on the right track in understanding the Great Pyramid. He privately published a rare book titled Pharaoh's Pump. Although there is scholarly debate concerning many aspects of his research and findings, much of the work and direction of the Pharaoh's Pump Foundation is built on his body of research. We have named our foundation after his book in honor of Edward Kunkel and the work that he accomplished.
His book was last published in the early 1980's. Since that time with the establishment of our nonprofit foundation much work has been accomplished which builds on Kunkel's work. Much of that reserch has been made available to the general public through the book titled Lost Technologies of the Great Pyramid by Steven Myers. That book describes how the Great Pyramid was built.
Not everyone involed in the work of our foundation is located in southwestern Oregon. With the Internet many of our contributors, advisers fellow researchers and other participants are spread out all over the world. Although the focus is on how and why the Great Pyramid was built, we are interested in a number of new and emerging technologies from what ever source. It is part of our Mission Statement to work to redevelop these various technologies for our modern but troubled world. We have done on-site research activities at the Great Pyramid and have also done work as a think tank.
