Primary Goals of the Pharaoh's Pump Foundation

We live in perilous times! Pollution, environmental degradation, economic and political instabilities as well as military hostilities are related to the energy systems our modern civilization has developed and utilized. Our modern civilization's energy systems are one of the leading destabilizing factors in the world today. With ever increasing gasoline prices as well as recent large scale electrical blackouts in California and other areas it is in our civilization's best interest to develop every available type of clean, renewable energy technologies possible.

Our site is about the technology relating to mankind's most enigmatic wonder. We feel the technology of this ancient wonder would be extremely useful in our day and age. Our goal is to make tomorrow's world a safer and cleaner place by embracing the technology used by ancient humanity to build the Great Pyramid and operate this wonder as a water pump. Our organization is interested in this exciting alternative to petroleum, nuclear, and hydro-electricity as energy systems. If you are interested in an alternative to either the energy systems our world has developed or an alterative to the orthodox view of our most ancient ancestors, then our goals will be of interest to you.

Research, develop and build the water pumping technology utilized by the Original Builders of the Great Pyramid.  This is our Primary Goal.  It is the intent of our organization to redevelop the type of water pump the Great Pyramid was originally designed to be. This type of water pump is explored in greater depth in the book called: Pharaoh's Pump.
We want to bring back to life the Great Pyramid water pump by creating a scale replica of the water pump the Great Pyramid was built to be. We do not need to build the pyramid shape, only the passages and chambers to scale using modern materials.

Our large scale model of the Great Pyramid water pump will be used to develop and make available this unique ancient technology. Rediscovering and utilizing this high technology of Ancient mankind will improve our world in modern times.

The prototype will pump water to a height of 40 feet. It will be constructed using modern materials and viewing windows into each chamber. This project will be expensive, close to $22,000. For the cost of 1/40th of one cruse missile the Great Pyramid Water Pump can be built. Funding problems have been an issue and it is slowing our progress. After receiving adequate funding the Great Pyramid Water Pump will take about nine months to build.

We are soliciting funding for the completion of this large scale prototype. We need funding to purchase material or even the donation of materials for this important research and project. If you want to be involved please go to our Get Involved page.

Complete the publication process of the manuscript written by Steven Myers. Our founder, Steven Myers is completing a manuscript about our foundation's research and the results of our experiments.  This book, when published will describe in depth the construction process and operation of the Great Pyramid water pump. Research Trip to Egypt and the Great Pyramid. Our goal of conducting a research trip to the Great Pyramid has been completed in late May, 2004. It was an eventful and productive experience. This trip furthered the research of our foundation and a number of photos were taken to me included in our founder's upcoming book

Spread the word about our Research.  This goal is ongoing. Our founder Steven Myers has written a number of magazine articles as well as been the guest on a number of radio programs to describing how the Great Pyramid was built and what it means to modern man in our troubled world.  Also, he has given lectures on this fascinating and controversial subject matter. If you have a group who would be interested in Steven Myers as a guest speaker please contact our foundation.

We want to conduct additional research trips back to Egypt, but also to Canada as well as Australia. Most people can understand our interest in returning to Egypt to conduct additional research.  But why go to Canada and Australia?  They have no Pyramids?  To find out why, go to our Other Activities page.

Equipping our research facility with needed tools equipment and construction materials. We have a research facility which we are very grateful for.  We are equipping it with tools, and needed building supplies as funding allows. The establishment of a Museum and Research Center. This is our long term goal.  We want to establish a museum which will house a series of 3D displays showing how the Great Pyramid was constructed.  These displays would show the entire construction process from beginning to end.  We also want to display a number of functional models of the water pumping technology embodied in the Great Pyramid.  Also there would be a number of displays about Edward Kunkel as well as other aspects of ancient mankind's high technology.  This museum would include a small theater, research library, and of course a gift shop!  We would offer tours of the facility and even possibly rides to help educate people about our research and findings. With the museum would be a research facility to develop technology not just relating to the Great Pyramid but other non-polluting, energy efficient technologies to help our modern yet troubled world.

Along with the above goals we have day to day expenses and are in need of tools, materials and equipment for our research facility and library. Currently we have no primary funding source so your donations are greatly appreciated.
