Mission Statement The Pharaoh's Pump Foundation is an Oregon based, 501 ( c ) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of decentralized, energy efficient, nonpolluting technologies. Our interests include responsible stewardship of the environment, conservation, and renewable inexpensive energy systems. We feel many of our goals can be achieved through the usage of new and emerging energy and conservation technologies we are developing at our research facility. Our foundation is located in beautiful southwestern Oregon, in the picturesque town of Coquille. See Map showing our location. Our members and contributors are interested in the development of appropriate technologies for today's world. We are individuals with varied backgrounds and abilities who share this common goal. We will improve the world through the development of nonpolluting, environmentally friendly, decentralized technologies.
Our Current Project Although we have a number of ongoing projects, our current focus is the development and implementation of a very efficient water pumping technology, which would be useful in agricultural and industrial applications. This technology is both efficient and cost effective for industrialized as well as third world countries. This water pumping technology is being developed in our research facility. Local communities will be able to manufacture efficient water pumps in their own communities using nearby cottage workshops. Utilizing local materials, individuals and small groups will bring economic development and self sufficiency to societies which now are dependent on expensive energy systems. Funding We are a nonprofit organization that is funded primarily by small private donations. This organization is supported through the philanthropy of people like you. We are seeking funding to further our research and development of this water pumping system and to develop a product which will reduce hunger and improve self sufficiency.
